To prevent as many children as possible from being harmed when using the internet.
We do this by teaching as many children as we can how to be cybersecure and online safe by going into schools and providing free online information in a language and format that children understand.
We provide free online cybersecure and online information to children, which will empower them to stay safe, and what safe actions to take if they find they are not.
We support parents in their quest to keep their children cybersecure and online safe by providing free online teaching tools, which they can use to teach their children.
Our teaching material will always be supported by scientific research regarding optimal teaching techniques, language and presentation for optimal information retention and action.
We are 100% passionate and committed to helping children stay cybersecure and online safe.
Our History
Teachkidssecurity.com was founded by Matthew Nielsen in 2025 post graduating with a First Honours BSc in Cybersecurity with the sole purchase of teaching children how to be cybersecure and online safe.
Researching for his dissertation, he found that only 0.44% of users go on to page 2 when using a search engine, and that on page 1 no website exists with the sole purpose of enabling parents to teach cybersecurity and online safety to their child, nor did he find any cybersecurity websites who teaches parents and children how to deal with a cybersecure and online attack after it has happened, using their optimal teaching technique preferences.
Hence there is a gap in the provision to support parents teaching their children how to be cybersecure and online safe, and it is the sole purpose of Teachkidssecurity.com to fill this gap, to prevent as many children as possible from being harmed when using the internet.
